HappyAtom is the culmination of many years' thinking, discussing, analysing, imagining and planning by Paul Taylor, managing consultant.

Paul's training and consulting experience spans almost twenty years and includes:

• accredited facilitator on the Ericsson global leadership programme, delivering in over 10 countries to 20 different nationalities over a five year period; development and delivery of two-day finance module for Ericsson managers and strategic marketing programme
• the design (including train-the-trainer workshops) and delivery of training programmes for ntl: Telewest / Virgin Media
• strategic management courses designed and delivered for Oxford University Press
• marketing communications and marketing effectiveness courses designed and delivered for Cisco
• four-day business management programme (customer focus, strategy, finance and business planning) designed and delivered for civil engineering firm May Gurney
• finance for non-finance managers and value-based marketing courses designed and delivered for Centrica
• consultancy and project management relating to the promotion of UK Online for Business and Best Practice initiatives for the dti
• lecturing on the Chartered Institute of Marketing postgraduate diploma course

Paul's training and consultancy experience is supported by early sales and marketing roles with GEC and Boeing and as Business Marketing Manager for London Electricity during market liberalisation. At London Electricity he was responsible for the development of marketing strategy and managing a multi-million pound promotion budget. Prior to this, he was the director of a management consultancy and training firm, the SIA Group.

Paul graduated in law from Oxford University in the early '80s. In 1987 he gained an MBA from City University. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Management Consultancy.

Associates

We also have a network of associate consultants with expertise in related fields. In some ways, HappyAtom resembles what Alvin Toffler called a “shifting constellation”. In other words, a network of experts with a common mindset who work together but also gain experience working with other groups. Unlike a firm with salaried consultants, we will always provide the right person for the specific job, rather than the expensive resource with white space in their diary.

You may be assured however that all HappyAtom consultants are of the highest calibre. Before commencing any project we provide full details on any consultants / facilitators involved and are more than happy for you to meet with them. In fact, we positively encourage it; any development activity is a partnership and it is essential that partners understand and feel comfortable with each other.
